Opening For Assistant Manager - IT Systems

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Asst. Manager Systems to oversee and manage our enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple locations. This role requires expertise in server and network administration, SD-WAN operations, cloud services, virtualization, and data security. The individual will also support audit requirements and ensure IT systems meet organizational and compliance standards

Server Administration

• Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Plan and execute regular updates, patch management, and performance tuning.

2. Audit Observations Support

• Assist in internal and external IT VAPT audits.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of IT systems and configurations.

3. Branch Network Operations (SD-WAN)

• Administer SD-WAN solutions for branch offices to ensure secure, efficient, and optimized connectivity.
• Monitor WAN/LAN links and resolve performance bottlenecks.

4. Network Administration

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and maintain network security controls and access policies.

5. Endpoint Support

• Provide advanced support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Deploy and manage endpoint security, anti-virus, and patching tools.

6. Virtual Machine (VM) Administration

• Administer virtual infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V), including provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor resource utilization and optimize virtual environments.

7. Data Backup & Recovery

• Manage backup systems for on-premises and cloud data.
• Regularly test and validate restore processes to ensure data integrity.

8. NAS Administration

• Maintain and manage NAS devices for secure storage and quick retrieval of data.
• Monitor capacity and ensure redundancy.

9. Cloud Backup & Server Management

• Administer cloud backup solutions to safeguard critical data.
• Manage and optimize cloud servers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), ensuring uptime, cost efficiency, and security.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8 to 10 years of experience in IT administration with exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows server administration.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technology, routers, firewalls, and VPNs are preferred.
• PAM/SIEM/DLP knowledge is preferred
• Expertise in virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with NAS, backup/recovery tools, and cloud backup solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
