Job Title: L1 Proxy Engineer
Location: Mumbai (Belapur)
Experience: 2- 4 Years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated L1 Proxy Engineer with experience in managing enterprise proxy solutions and web security infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for supporting proxy systems, monitoring web traffic, implementing access policies, and ensuring secure internet access across the enterprise network.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise proxy solutions such as Blue Coat, Zscaler, Websense, FortiProxy, etc.
• Monitor proxy traffic logs and generate reports for security monitoring and performance analysis.
• Fine-tune proxy policies and web access rules based on organizational security and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with Information Security, Network, and System teams to implement secure web access and internet usage policies.
• Conduct regular health checks, maintenance activities, upgrades, and patching of proxy appliances and software.
• Troubleshoot proxy-related connectivity issues, web access problems, and policy conflicts.
• Ensure smooth functioning of proxy infrastructure while maintaining security standards.
• Document configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps for proxy infrastructure.
Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge of enterprise proxy technologies and web security.
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and web access policies.
• Familiarity with proxy solutions such as Blue Coat, Zscaler, Websense, FortiProxy, or similar technologies.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, firewall policies, and network security.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
