Nursing Tutor Nursing Officer

A Nursing Tutor is responsible for teaching and guiding nursing students in theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, and professional practices. They prepare lesson plans, conduct classroom and practical training sessions, evaluate student performance, and support students in achieving academic and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach nursing subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, and pediatric nursing.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, study materials, and practical demonstrations.
• Conduct classroom lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical training.
• Supervise students during hospital or clinical postings.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, practical exams, and viva voce.
• Provide academic counseling and mentoring to students.
• Maintain attendance, academic records, and evaluation reports.
• Ensure compliance with nursing education standards and institutional policies.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings.
• Stay updated with current nursing practices, healthcare guidelines, and educational methods.
