Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Node.js, adhering to best practices for performance and security.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Optimize APIs for low latency and scalability.

Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design and implement efficient data storage and retrieval solutions.

Integrate AI in multiple applications- Open AI/Gemini APIs.

Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of quality and maintainability.

Implement and maintain security protocols to protect APIs and data.

Monitor and debug applications to ensure smooth performance.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and suggest improvements.

Required Skills:

Proficient in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.

Excellent understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.

Strong understanding of Open AI/Gemini APIs.

Knowledge of optimizing APIs for performance and reducing latency.

Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Familiarity with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana).

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js.
