Node Js Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience in Node.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Develop microservices and integrate third-party APIs.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and maintain database schemas and queries.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize backend performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with Express.js, NestJS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth 2.0).
• Knowledge of API security best practices.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools.
