Node Js Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Node.js Developer with strong expertise in Microservices Architecture and RabbitMQ to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Node.js backend development, API integrations, asynchronous messaging systems, and distributed applications. You will work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js/NestJS
• Build and manage microservices-based architectures
• Implement asynchronous communication using RabbitMQ or similar message brokers
• Develop secure and efficient RESTful APIs
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT/OAuth)
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and Node.js
• Good experience with Express.js or NestJS
• Practical experience with RabbitMQ or other message brokers
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Experience building REST APIs and handling asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
• Understanding of Git version control
• Knowledge of Redis/caching mechanisms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Kubernetes is an advantage

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Understanding of distributed systems and system design
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
