NextGen QA Engineer (Playwright + AI Testing) Experience: 68 Years | Work Split: 50% Automation | 50% Manual (approx) Must Have • 2+ yrs Playwright (JS/TS) | Strong manual testing fundamentals • STLC, test design, functional/regression testing • Jira/Xray or Azure Boards • Quick understanding of application ecosystem & workflows • AI tools exposure (Copilot/ChatGPT) for test generation & debugging • Strong communication skills Good to Have • CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps) • API testing (Postman/REST) • Basic performance testing + Lighthouse (Core Web Vitals) • AI-driven testing (self-healing, smart locators) • Testing AI-native applications Key Responsibilities • Playwright automation development & maintenance • Manual functional & exploratory testing • Understand ecosystem & ensure coverage • Leverage AI tools for productivity & debugging • Basic performance validation (Lighthouse) • Defect reporting & collaboration • Drive QA ROI (coverage ›, cycle time fl, leakage fl) Profile Expectations • Fast learner | Adaptable | Outcome-driven • AI-first mindset | Strong communicator
