Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and market-driven New Product Development Manager to lead the conceptualization, development, and launch of innovative products across our business verticals Soft Toys, 3D Printing Products, and Collectibles & Numismatic Products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Generate and evaluate new product ideas aligned with business objectives and market demand.
- Lead product development projects from concept to production and launch.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, production, marketing, and sales teams for successful product execution.
- Develop product specifications, prototypes, and sample approvals.
- Ensure product quality, safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on market feedback.
- Manage product timelines and coordinate with vendors and manufacturing partners.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Soft Toys / Plush Toys
- Gifting & Novelty Products
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Fashion Design, Toy Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in New Product Development, Product Management, or Product Design.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and market research techniques.
- Experience working with consumer products and managing product launches.
- Excellent project management, communication, and coordination skills.
