Network Security engineer-fortigate | F5 | Proxy | Routing & Switching

Role & responsibilities

• The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in FortiGate Firewall, Routing & Switching, F5 Load Balancing and Proxy/Secure Web Gateway technologies.
• The role is primarily focused on enterprise-level project implementation, deployment and troubleshooting. Candidates with only BAU/operations, monitoring or ticket-based support experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on enterprise-level implementation and deployment of network and security solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiGate Firewalls, including firewall policies, NAT, VPN, routing and HA.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF in enterprise network environments.
• Configure and implement F5 LTM/GTM, including VIPs, pools, health monitors and traffic management.
• Work with Proxy/Secure Web Gateway technologies such as Zscaler, Blue Coat or equivalent.
• Participate in end-to-end project activities covering Design, Configuration, Implementation, Testing, Deployment and Go-Live.
• Troubleshoot issues across routing, switching, firewall, load balancing and proxy technologies.
• Prepare and maintain HLD/LLD and implementation documentation.
• Coordinate with network, security, application and infrastructure teams during implementation and deployment.
• Support production deployment and post-Go-Live troubleshooting.

Mandatory Requirements

• 68 years of relevant Network/Security experience.
• Strong hands-on FortiGate implementation experience – Mandatory.
• Hands-on enterprise-level implementation/deployment experience.
• Strong knowledge of BGP and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with F5 LTM/GTM or equivalent load balancer.
• Experience with Zscaler, Blue Coat or equivalent Proxy/SWG.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Network and Security technologies.
• Experience working on production implementation and Go-Live activities.
• Good understanding of enterprise network security concepts.
