Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in routing, switching, and managing LAN/WAN environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity issues to ensure high availability.
• Implement network security measures and monitor for vulnerabilities.
• Perform regular network performance analysis and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support network-related projects and upgrades.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and resolve escalated network issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, VLANs).
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies and topologies.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs.
• Understanding of network security principles and firewall configurations.
• Tools & Platforms:
• Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS or similar CLI environments.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Experience:

• 25 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
