Network Engineer
We are a growing Internet Service Provider in Kangra seeking a Network Engineer to manage and optimize our network infrastructure. This role combines fieldwork and technical expertise, directly impacting our service quality.
Responsibiliites:
Configure and manage Mikrotik and Cisco routers/switches.
Set up and troubleshoot VLANs, BGP, OSPF, firewalls, and network loops.
Install and maintain OLTs, NAS devices, fiber, and Ethernet cabling.
Monitor L2/L3 networks and resolve real-time network issues.
Conduct field installations, including climbing radio masts when necessary.
Maintain network documentation and SOPs.
Requirements:
3 4 years in network operations (preferably ISP experience).
Hands-on experience with Mikrotik and Cisco hardware.
Strong knowledge of IP protocols, AAA (Radius/TACACS), MPLS, QoS, STP/RSTP.
Understanding of the OSI model, VLAN management, and network monitoring.
Relevant certifications (Mikrotik/Cisco) preferred.
Problem-solving mindset, field-ready, self-driven, and team-oriented.
Must reside within 30 minutes of Dharamshala with independent 24 7 transport.

Remuneration: Rs 15,000 Rs 25,000/month plus insurance and other benefits
