Role: Network Administrator
Department: IT / Infrastructure
Location: Campus

Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting the campus network and ICT infrastructure. The role requires hands-on technical expertise to quickly identify and resolve issues related to Wi-Fi, LAN, CCTV, networking equipment, and other ICT devices, ensuring uninterrupted operations across the campus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network & Wi-Fi Management

  • Monitor the campus Wi-Fi and LAN network to ensure stable and reliable connectivity.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to slow internet, connectivity drops, dead zones, access points, switches, routers, and network configuration.
  • Diagnose network issues independently and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate with the ISP/service providers for issues related to internet connectivity and bandwidth.
  • Ensure all network equipment is properly configured and functioning.
  • Conduct regular checks of network infrastructure and identify potential issues proactively.

2. CCTV & Surveillance Systems

  • Monitor and troubleshoot CCTV-related issues across the campus.
  • Resolve issues related to camera connectivity, recording, display, NVR/DVR, storage, cabling, and network connectivity.
  • Ensure CCTV systems are operational and recordings are available when required.
  • Coordinate with external CCTV vendors for hardware-level issues or replacements where necessary.

3. ICT Device Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-level troubleshooting and technical support for campus ICT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to projectors, TVs/displays, audio systems, microphones, speakers, video conferencing equipment, printers, and other ICT devices.
  • Identify whether an issue is related to hardware, software, configuration, connectivity, or power supply and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Ensure classroom and meeting-room ICT equipment is operational and ready for use.

4. Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct regular preventive checks of network and ICT infrastructure.
  • Maintain an inventory of network equipment and ICT devices.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Maintain proper documentation of network configurations, equipment, repairs, and replacements.

5. Vendor & Service Coordination

  • Coordinate with network, CCTV, ISP, and ICT equipment vendors whenever external support is required.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
  • Verify the resolution of issues before closing service requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in network administration or IT infrastructure support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Wi-Fi, LAN, routers, switches, access points, and basic network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CCTV/NVR/DVR systems.
  • Basic understanding of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot ICT equipment such as displays, projectors, audio systems, and conference-room equipment.
  • Good vendor coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to on-ground technical issues.
