.Net/Azure Developer (5-9 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with 5-9 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic development team. Will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the latest .NET technologies in Azure. The role also involves integrating DevOps practices into the development process and writing comprehensive unit tests to ensure high-quality code.

Responsibilities:

1. Development & Maintenance:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance .NET applications using .NET 8 or .NET 9 (latest version).

- Should have excellent coding, logical, problem-solving skills.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

- Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure or AWS.

- Expert in Azure Devops and should know integration of Azure OpenAI.

2. DevOps Integration:

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure the smooth deployment and integration of applications.

- Ensure that best practices for code versioning and branching strategies are followed (Git).

3. Unit Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests using frameworks like xUnit, NUnit.

- Integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure automated test execution during deployments.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is produced and identify areas for improvement.

4. Collaboration & Mentorship:

- Work closely with other developers, BA, QA engineers, and project managers to define and deliver new features.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

- Create and maintain technical documentation for the development process, APIs, and system design.

- Report on project progress and address any blockers or risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 6-9 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.

- Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and familiarity with MVC and Web API development.

- Frameworks & Libraries: Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and ADO.NET.

- Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.

- Unit Testing: Strong experience with writing unit tests using xUnit, NUnit.

- DevOps Tools: Proficient in Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools. Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Cloud: Experience with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Functions, Blob Storage) or other cloud platforms like AWS.

- Web Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Exposure to modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and development.

- Knowledge of API design standards and best practices (RESTful, GraphQL).

- Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Exposure on of Azure Devops and integration of OpenAI.

Added Advantage:

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.

- Understanding of application security best practices.
