About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to lead the design and development of enterprise healthcare analytics applications. This role focuses on architecting scalable backend services, modern web applications, and secure data processing workflows that support healthcare quality programs such as HEDIS and Star Ratings. This role focuses on architecting scalable backend services, modern web applications, and secure data processing workflows that support healthcare quality programs such as HEDIS and Star Ratings. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with .NET 8, Web API, SQL Server/Oracle, Angular, and applies SOLID principles, Repository & Unit of Work design patterns, and best engineering practices to deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop RESTful APIs and modular monolithic using .NET 8 / C#, following Clean Architecture.
- Implement Repository Pattern and Unit of Work (UoW) for scalable data access and transactional consistency using Dapper/ADO.NET.
- Use Options Pattern for strongly typed configuration and secure environment-specific application settings.
- Apply SOLID Principles, Dependency Injection, and clean modular coding practices to improve maintainability and extensibility.
- Develop responsive and modular UI layers using Angular, TypeScript, and PrimeNG, supporting analytics dashboards and compliance workflows.
- Design optimized database schemas and access layers for high-volume clinical and claims processing on SQL Server and Oracle using Dapper.
- Integrate external systems for medical record retrieval and abstraction, ETL ingestion pipelines, audit tracking, and quality metric computation.
- Implement authentication, role-based authorization, and multi-tenant architecture, ensuring access and data isolation controls.
- Build automated test suites using NUnit and Moq to drive test-driven development and improve regression reliability.
- Implement structured logging and distributed tracing using Serilog and Dynatrace for deep observability and performance insights.
- Enforce application security, code quality, and vulnerability management leveraging SonarQube, Veracode, and OWASP best practices.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Bamboo for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise software.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET (Core / .NET 8 preferred).
- Strong expertise in building REST APIs / modular monolithic and distributed system design.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, and front-end component libraries like PrimeNG.
- Proficiency in SQL Server / Oracle, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modelling.
- Experience with Serilog, SonarQube, Veracode, Dynatrace, and enterprise-level logging/monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of unit testing and mocking frameworks (NUnit, Moq).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, and version control best practices.
- Understanding of secure coding standards and compliance frameworks (OWASP, HIPAA).
