.NET Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and independent .Net Developer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, and testing web applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C#, VB.Net, web services, APIs, SQL, and Oracle databases, alongside a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in design, development, implementation and testing in web applications, using .Net, C# (majorly) along with VB.Net (desired).
• Independent hands-on developer to execute enhancements, projects, and bug fixes.
• Be Subject Matter Expert to design & development of web services, APIs, web applications, SQL Database, and Oracle Database.
• Strong knowledge of full life cycle and various SDLC methodologies.
• Good communication skills, adept at learning new technical skills.
• Strong expertise in Oracle and SQL programming with experience of writing & optimizing queries.
• Understanding of Software Unit & Integration Test methodologies and testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A self-starter, and individual contributor with effective team collaboration skills.
• Effective client communication skills.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Typically, a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 - 8 years of related experience.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• 6 - 8 years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, .Net, C#, and VB.Net; databases like SqlServer/ Oracle).
• Experience of one or more full release cycles. Basic understanding of modern software development methodologies (Object).
• Basic understanding of modern software development tools and SCM (software configuration management).
• Basic understanding of Software Test methodologies, test scripting and testing tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Desired Technical stack: .Net Framework 2.0, 3.5, 4.2; C#, VB.Net, Jquery / JavaScript, Oracle Server, Web API / Web Services, XML / JSON.
