Job Description
We are seeking a 'Manager - Analytics' to lead and scale our Business Analyst team in Bangalore. This role is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making across Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Supply Chain functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts, providing guidance and support to help them achieve them full potential.
2. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
3. Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and implement professional development plans for team members.
4. Collaborate with various business units to identify analytical needs and define data-driven strategies to address complex challenges.
5. Utilize advanced analytics to mine large datasets, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
6. Present analytical findings to senior management and stakeholders, translating complex data into easily understandable recommendations.
7. Drive process improvements and standardization in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
8. Develop and implement best practices for data management, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
9. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to streamline analytical processes.
10. Partner with other departments to identify opportunities for data integration and collaboration to support organizational goals.
11. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the availability and accessibility of data required for analysis.
12. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
13. Must have used BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Sisense along with knowledge about API and bots is desirable.
14. Evaluate and recommend appropriate analytical tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Role Requirements and Expectations:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in any related discipline.
2. 10+years with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the data analytics domain.
3. Strong proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical modeling.
4. Proficiency in using analytical tools such as PowerBI, SQL and Python
5. Ability to transform complex data sets into real time dashboards, providing actionable insights to multiple stakeholders and business leaders
6. Ability to let the numbers define the narrative rather than finding numbers to support a narrative
7. Ability to apply analytical rigor to complex business issues and supply chain processes.
8. Highly skilled in problem solving and able to convey key initiatives to senior level management (Including C-Suite leaders like CEO, COO etc)
9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non- technical stakeholders.
10. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
11. Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
12. Understand business dynamics and deliver periodical, in-depth analysis of Purchase, Sales, Inventory planning, Product level analysis etc.
