MS Azure Platform Engineer

We are looking for an 8- 10 years of experienced and hands-on Azure Administrator to join our cloud infrastructure team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in administering Microsoft Azure environments, a strong automation mindset, and a never-give-up attitude toward solving complex problems. You will be responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure while working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Work Mode : Work from Office (5 DAYS A WEEK)

Work Location : Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer, monitor, and maintain production and non-production Azure cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Design, configure, and manage Azure networking, including Virtual Networks (VNETs), subnets, NSGs, VNET peering, VPN/ExpressRoute, load balancers, and application gateways.
• Provision and manage a broad range of Azure services such as compute (VMs, VMSS), storage, App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and identity (Entra ID / Azure AD).
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to enable repeatable, version-controlled deployments.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python) to eliminate manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; respond to and resolve incidents.
• Apply governance, security, and cost-optimization best practices across subscriptions and resource groups.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous improvement.
  

Required Skills & Experience :

• 8- 10 years of overall IT infrastructure experience, with strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure networking concepts, especially VNET architecture, subnetting, routing, and connectivity options.
• Strong working knowledge of a wide range of Azure services across compute, storage, networking, identity, and databases.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
• Solid automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, and/or Python).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
• Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and governance best practices.
• Hands-on experience working within agile teams and methodologies.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS).
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
