Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IBM Integration SME with strong expertise in IBM ESB, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), ESQL, Message Flows, and Enterprise Application Integration. The role focuses on architecting, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise integration solutions across applications, APIs, middleware, and messaging platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership capabilities and hands-on development experience in large-scale integration environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using IBM ESB / IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Develop and support ESQL, Message Flows, Subflows, Shared Libraries, and reusable integration components.
• Minimum relevant experience of 6 Years in the same.
• Build and manage REST and SOAP APIs, IBM MQ/JMS messaging, and event-driven integration architectures.
• Integrate enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Finance, and third-party applications.
• Implement message transformation, routing, orchestration, validation, and enrichment using XML, JSON, and Flat File formats.
• Support Application-to-Application (A2A), API-based, batch, and real-time integrations.
• Configure and administer IBM MQ, including queue management and middleware connectivity.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise standards for security, governance, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams to deliver integration solutions.
• Prepare technical artifacts including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Interface Specifications, and Operational Runbooks.
• Provide technical leadership, SME support, code reviews, and mentoring to integration teams.
• Leverage AI-powered coding assistants and demonstrate strong prompt engineering skills to improve development productivity.
• Contribute to integration-related development activities using Java/J2EE technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core technologies including IBM ESB, ESQL, Java, and IBM ACE.
• Good hands-on experience in designing and developing enterprise integration solutions using IBM ESB technologies.
• Develop and maintain ESQL, Message Flows, Subflows, Shared Libraries, and reusable integration components.
• Build and support REST/SOAP APIs, MQ/JMS messaging, and event-driven integrations.
• Integrate enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, finance, and third-party systems.
• Perform message transformation, routing, orchestration, validation, and enrichment using XML/JSON/Flat.
• Support application-to-application (A2A), API, batch, and real-time integrations.
• Manage IBM MQ configuration, queue management, and middleware connectivity.
• Ensure integration security, governance, scalability, and enterprise standards compliance.
• Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams.
• Prepare technical documentation including HLD, LLD, interface mapping, and operational runbooks.
• Provide SME support, technical guidance, and mentoring to integration teams.
• Exposure to Code assist tools and good prompt writing skills.
• Good hands-on exposure to Java/J2EE skills.
