Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in embedded systems testing, test automation, and protocol validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Python automation, DNP3 protocol testing, and embedded system validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Robot Framework and Python.
- Perform DNP3 protocol testing and validation using ASE2000 or similar tools.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing for embedded systems.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain test cases, automation scripts, and test documentation.
- Manage test artifacts using GitHub and track defects through JIRA.
- Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Embedded Systems Testing and Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Python.
- Experience in DNP3 protocol testing and ASE2000.
- Knowledge of embedded systems validation and protocol testing.
- Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and Agile development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PLC, BACnet, Modbus, or Profinet protocols.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Omicron, Chroma, or Zephyr Squad.
- Experience in Industrial Automation, Smart Grid, or Power Systems.
Mandatory Skills: Python, Robot Framework, Embedded System Testing, DNP3, ASE2000, Test Automation, GitHub, JIRA.
