Role & responsibilities

This role needs someone who can appreciate the big picture, not just the current landscape. You will need to not only be hands-on but also explain to others your ideas and the design and integration of the solutions. Your team working skills will be required to amplify your performance in this role. Good communication skills are mandatory. You should be adhering/contributing to given high-quality coding and other standards as defined in the group. The person must have the commitment to complete the solution with good analysing and innovative skills. The zeal to continuously learn new technologies, models, techniques and processes will help the incumbent to stand out from the crowd. Of course, you need to be good in programming skills. You will work with a high performing Development Team. And this role gives you an exciting opportunity to shape a team of experienced Senior Development role.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience of 5+ years in application development using Power Platform and with experience in full stack development
• At least 2 years of experience in design, development, testing and deployment using Power Platform
• Sound in Power Virtual Agents/CoPilot Studio for developing bots/agents
• Working experience in Azure AI Foundry will be added advantage
• Knowledge on various LLM models and Gen AI tools
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying applications using Generative AI models and frameworks will be a value add
• Experience in using development tools such as Visual Studio 2019 or higher, configuration and design tools
• Strong ability of converting business requirements into Power Platform based applications. Exposure to Angular will give an added advantage.
• Knowledge of latest additions in SQL Server 2016.
• Hands-on experience on O365 suite and Azure platform
• Understanding of and hands-on experience in any Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools
• Having experience with DevOps tools such as ADO and GitHub
• Strong hold over Object Oriented Programming principles.
• Practical exposure of Design Patterns such as Factory, Abstract Factory, Strategy etc, including all other major design patterns.
• A good understanding of the Applications Lifecycle Management (ALM), with full lifecycle experience, from design through development, testing and deployment of the solutions.
• Prior experience in test-driven-development will be preferred
• Must be a good team player, good learner and a self-starter
• Must have problem-solving skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills
• A good understanding of eXtreme programming/practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Pair programming, Test Drive Development
• Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum environment. Knowledge of SAFe principles and experience of software development using SAFe Agile methodologies will give added advantage
• Very strong communication skills are required. Must be capable of interacting with solution architects, and other technology teams to identify technology opportunities
• Flexible to work during both India and UK business hours, as and when business demands

Education and Experience

• Requires Bachelors in Engineering or computer science (MSc or MTech is preferred), and strong relevant professional experience
