Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS professional with strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel. The individual will be responsible for data extraction, analysis, dashboard development, reporting automation, and management presentations to support business decision-making. The role requires transforming complex data into meaningful insights and delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reports.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Analysis

• Extract, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets using SQL.
• Develop and maintain databases, queries, and data models for reporting purposes.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business requirements.

Dashboard & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Create automated reports and KPI scorecards for leadership review.
• Monitor business performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports.

Advanced Excel Management

• Utilize advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP,
• and Dashboards.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
• Conduct trend analysis and forecasting using Excel tools.

Business Presentations

• Prepare management presentations and business review decks.
• Convert analytical findings into concise visual stories and recommendations.
• Present key insights, trends, and business performance metrics to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide timely support for data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, stored procedures, data manipulation).
• Hands-on experience in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, dashboard design).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas, VBA/Macros preferred).
• Experience in data visualization and reporting automation.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, and business reporting frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting roles.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is an added advantage.
