Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager - Strategy Regulatory Compliances Location: Delhi Reporting: Head Strategy and Regulatory Educational qualification: Engineering background preferably with MBA with flair for customer engagement Experience required: 3 to 5 years (Strong analytical and drafting skills with flair for regulatory and stakeholder engagement)
Candidate must have good understanding of Power Sector / Power Exchanges / Regulatory Affairs / Energy Consulting / Utilities
Exposure to regulatory filings, policy analysis, petitions, and coordination with regulatory bodies would be preferred
Key Objectives of the Role
The role shall primarily support the Strategy Regulatory function in handling regulatory matters, policy tracking, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of regulatory submissions. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely regulatory compliance and effective representation of PXIL's interests
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Regulatory Filings Documentation Assist in preparation and submission of regulatory filings, petitions, replies, affidavits, and other documents before regulatory authorities Maintain proper records and documentation related to regulatory matters and correspondence Track timelines and ensure timely filing/compliance requirements
- 2. Regulatory Research Policy Analysis Monitor developments in power sector regulations, policies, orders, and consultation papers issued by CERC, MoP, CEA, Grid India, and other authorities Analyse regulatory developments and prepare concise internal notes/summaries Support assessment of business impact arising from regulatory and policy changes
- 3. Litigation Regulatory Coordination Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsels, and consultants for ongoing regulatory and legal matters Review petitions, replies, rejoinders, and supporting documents from a regulatory and business perspective Assist in compilation of data and information required for hearings and submissions Support engagement with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and sector stakeholders Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and communication with external agencies/institutions Participate in industry discussions, workshops, and consultation processes as required
- 5. Internal Coordination Support Work closely with Market Operations, Business Development, Legal, Risk, Technology, and Finance teams for regulatory inputs and data requirements Support preparation of presentations, briefing notes, and management updates on regulatory matters Assist senior leadership in strategic and regulatory initiatives from time to time
