Mines Manager, Ghogharpalli Coal Mines Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mining operations to achieve production, productivity, quality, and dispatch targets while ensuring operational excellence.
• Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements under the Mines Act, CMR, Mines Rules, DGMS regulations, and other applicable mining laws.
• Drive a strong safety culture and achieve Zero Harm by implementing robust safety management systems, conducting audits, mitigating risks, and optimizing production costs (Rs/GCV) while ensuring adherence to approved operating budgets.
• Collaborate closely with MDOs, contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless mine operations and target achievement.
• Optimize utilization of mining equipment, resources, and manpower to maximize productivity, improve efficiency, and minimize downtime.
• Lead ESG and sustainability initiatives, ensuring environmental compliance, responsible mining practices, and achievement of Zero Waste targets.

Desired Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering with 12-14 years of relevant experience in large opencast coal mining operations.
• Should have First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Coal) issued by DGMS (Mandatory).
• Proven experience in managing mine production, safety, statutory compliance, contractor/MDO management, and ESG initiatives.
