About the Role Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management Nice to Have
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on on-premises infrastructure to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems and networks.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with infrastructure management, networking, and security, and is comfortable working in complex on-prem environments.
- Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure (servers, storage, and networking equipment)
- Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability
- Perform regular updates, patches, and system maintenance
- Design, implement, and manage network configurations (LAN, WAN, VPN)
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues
- Monitor and optimize network traffic and performance
- Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls
- Manage port configurations and secure internal/external communication
- Implement and maintain security protocols and best practices
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
- Perform backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processes
- Collaborate with IT teams on ongoing projects and initiatives
- Provide technical support to internal users and teams
- Support planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure
- Strong experience with firewalls, network security, and port configurations
- Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
- Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Certifications such as:
- CCNA
- CompTIA Network+
- CISSP
