Job Description
Key Domain and Technical expertise in following Middleware applications
Minimum 6+ years of Experience in WebLogic Administration
Minimum 3+ years of Jboss, Apache, Tomcat, Spring boot, Wildfly
Minimum 5+ years in Oracle HTTP server administration
Overall IT experience of 10+ is preferred
Design and Architecting skills are added advantage
Should be able to lead a team of 4 to 6 team members and mentor
Should have handled onsite client facing role
Maintain high availability (SLAs) of the middleware applications and own completely to drive any improvements to ensure highly available, resilient middleware platform. Coordinate and collaborate with SMEs and client and other stakeholders in ensuring the same.
Good communication and presentation skills
Experience in handling following tasks in Middleware
Installation, configuration and administered WebLogic, Jboss, Tomcat, Springboot Wildfly in different environments like DEV, QA, UAT PROD on LINUX/WINDOWS OS
Hands on experience on WebLogic domains including machines, managed servers, node managers clustered environments.
Various application like WAR, JAR, EAR and J2EE deployments on managed servers and clustered environments using WLST or console on JBOSS, Middleware
JDBC, JMS, JNDI configurations and administration
Migration and up-gradation of WebLogic server versions
Updating JDK versions, applying patches and installing service packs on WebLogic, JBOSS and Tomcat servers
Experience in patching, vulnerability, version upgrade in WebLogic, jboss, Apache tomcat.
Finding memory leaks, adjusting JVM Heap and Garbage collector parameters during performance monitoring tuning
Involved in Performance monitoring using Tivoli Performance Viewer.
Load-Balancing, High Availability and Failover functionality Implementation on multiple clusters
WebLogic Proxy plug-in configuration for Apache
SSL and Digital certificates configuration and management
Shell or python scripting experience for automating tasks like startup and shut down applications or schedule Cron jobs etc.
Node manager Configurations
Created multiple Profiles on Middleware Application server
Configured Admin Console security on Middleware and creating users with various roles to access the Middleware admin console users and groups
Expertise in infrastructure components Such as OS, Network, Firewall, DMZs, LDAP, Databases
Installation, configuration, capacity planning, upgrading, problem resolution and debugging of all middleware product environments
Work with developers and architects in developing middleware configurations based on business requirements
Monitor health of applications and take corrective actions proactively
Participation in client meetings will be required
Knowledge of Agile waterfall development methodology and practices
Day to Day activities include website/app set-up, SSL installations, Troubleshooting Errors, Installation of Middleware Software, Code deployments and Incident management, Queue Management, etc.
Strong in preparing the Release documents to QA Production Environments
Managed and administered Domains, Clusters, JDBC Connection Pools, JDBC Data sources, Message services, Security, and other resources on BEA Web Logic Server 10g, 9.2 and Oracle WLS x Platforms.
Closely associate with UNIX Administrators, BR team, DB Administrators and fix the issues during pre-production and Live.
Good experience in high transaction production environments following industry best practices for change, problem, and incident management.
Having experience in Installing, Configuring, Administering and Troubleshooting ORACLE WebLogic Application Server on different flavors of Linux, Windows
Provided 24/7 on call support for production. Good analytical, troubleshooting problem-solving skills
Collaborated with the infrastructure, network, database, application, and BI teams to ensure data quality and availability.
Disk space monitoring housekeeping, downloading logs through SFTP, Web logic patches upgrading.
Working on Bridge cases (P1, P2, P3, P4 - Fault analysis resolution), raising incidents, and Closing cases.
Expertise in creating Queues, UDDs, Quota, Connection factories and topics.
