Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain middleware platforms such as:
- IBM WebSphere / WebLogic / JBoss / Apache Tomcat
- Integration tools like IBM MQ, Kafka, or MuleSoft
Deploy and manage enterprise applications across multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot middleware-related issues
Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams for deployment support
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and system hardening
Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripts or tools like Ansible
Configure and maintain high availability and load balancing (clustering, failover)
Manage SSL/TLS certificates, security configurations, and authentication integrations (LDAP, SSO)
Apply patches and perform upgrades with minimal downtime
Document configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident resolutions
Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation for critical systems

Required Skills & Experience

3 8+ years of experience in middleware administration
Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise middleware stack:
- IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Red Hat JBoss, Tomcat
Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell, Python)
Experience in configuring web servers (Apache, NGINX, Client)
Experience in troubleshooting Java EE applications, thread dumps, heap dumps
Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or Puppet
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics)
Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
