Job Description

Aboutthe Role:

Facilitators in the middle wing are responsible for delivering subject-specific instruction, supporting students, and ensuring their readiness for Cambridge International Examinations or equivalent assessments.

Whatyou will be doing:

Plan, design, and deliver engaging lessons for assigned subjects in alignment with the schools curriculum.
Incorporate creative teaching strategies to cater to various learning styles and enhance student engagement.
Ensure lesson plans are well-structured, meet grade-level requirements, and align with broader educational objectives.
Provide individual and group support to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.
Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills.
Identify and assist students struggling with concepts or performance issues through remedial or enrichment programs.
Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
Establish and communicate clear objectives and behavioral expectations.
Manage student behavior effectively and resolve conflicts amicably.
Develop, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
Maintain records of students academic performance and share feedback with parents/guardians during regular parent-teacher meetings.
Work closely with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure consistency in teaching methodologies and standards.
Collaborate with parents to address students needs and keep them informed about their progress and challenges.
Facilitate co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enhance students holistic development.
Encourage participation in competitions, cultural events, and sports.
Stay updated with current teaching methods, educational tools, and technology.
Attend workshops, training sessions, and school meetings to continually improve teaching practices.
Maintain up-to-date records of attendance, lesson plans, and grades.
Prepare reports for internal assessments, inspections, and audits.
Act as a mentor and role model for middle school students, guiding them through transitional years.
Provide career counselling or academic advice as required.
Integrate educational technology tools into teaching for a dynamic learning experience.
Use platforms for virtual learning or blendedclassroom settings when necessary.
