Service Line Data Analytics Unit
Responsibilities - MicroStrategy Development
- Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, and scorecards
- Develop and manage Intelligence Server objects, schema objects, and metadata
- Create metrics, filters, prompts, and transformations
- Build dynamic dashboards and data visualizations for business users
- Data Modeling BI Solutions
- Design and maintain data models (star schema, snowflake)
- Work with fact and dimension tables
- Optimize data models for reporting efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with data architects for BI solution design
- Performance Optimization
- Analyze and optimize report performance, SQL queries, and query tuning
- Implement best practices for caching, partitioning, and aggregation
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and improve response times
- MicroStrategy Administration (Optional / Preferred)
- Manage MicroStrategy environment, users, security, and access control
- Handle object migration and version upgrades
- Perform basic administrative tasks and monitoring
- SQL Database Management
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries
- Work with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake
- Ensure data accuracy through validation and reconciliation
- Production Support Maintenance
- Provide L2/L3 support for BI applications
- Troubleshoot issues with reports, dashboards, and data discrepancies
- Handle deployments and production release support
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
- Collaboration Stakeholder Interaction
- Work with business users, analysts, and product teams to gather requirements
- Translate business needs into technical BI solutions
- Conduct user training and provide documentation
- Experience with MicroStrategy administration (user/security management)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Primary skills: Technology->Business Intelligence - Reporting->Microstrategy
