JOB POSITION
- Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Software Engineer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full stack applications using Node.js for backend and React.js for frontend.
- Build and deploy scalable, cloud-native applications using AWS or Azure, implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Optimize system performance through efficient coding, caching, and distributed design, ensuring 99.99% uptime.
- Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and reusable UI components for innovation prototypes and production-grade systems.
- Integrate AI and automation workflows into enterprise products.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and UI/UX teams to deliver secure and high-performing applications.
- Participate in Living Lab initiatives and internal hackathons to drive innovation and prototype development.
- Support code reviews, technical documentation, and mentor junior developers in best practices.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Strong grounding in object-oriented programming, web frameworks, and database systems.
EXPERIENCE
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development with proven expertise in:
- Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js
- DevOps Cloud: AWS / Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience in API design, microservices, and REST/GraphQL integration.
- Exposure to AI-driven workflows, automation, or data-driven applications is a plus.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (K8s)
- Proficient with Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Terraform, and cloud deployment pipelines
- Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong collaboration, communication, and mentorship abilities
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning aligned with Carelon s mission to simplify healthcare
