Meridian IT - Software Engineer (4-9 yrs)

Meridian Group International is building a dedicated software engineering organization in Hyderabad. This team owns the end-to-end lifecycle of the applications in its portfolio: production support, maintenance, new feature delivery, platform migration, and Salesforce integration work.

This is not a passive support desk. You will ship features on the applications you support, own the release pipeline, and drive the technical roadmap under Product team direction. Senior-level engineers will also contribute directly to the core engineering groups feature work.

We are hiring Software Engineers at multiple levels. We are looking for people who can debug production systems, ship features, write solid tests, work comfortably in both legacy and modern codebases, and leverage AI tooling to move fast.

What You'll Do :

- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of applications in the support portfolio: support, maintenance, feature delivery, and release management

- Develop and release new features on supported applications under Product team direction

- Provide L1/L2 production support across C#/.NET, Angular, TypeScript, React, Python, Rust, and Salesforce

Apex

- Diagnose and resolve production issues using logs, monitoring tools, and systematic troubleshooting

- Execute and maintain runbooks; document new issues and resolutions

- Maintain and improve legacy C#/Angular applications using AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor)

- Port selected long-lived applications from C# to TypeScript/Rust with React front-ends

- Build new Salesforce integrations that replace legacy applications, using Meridians integration framework

- Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E) as a first-class part of every pull request

- Participate in code reviews both as reviewer and reviewee

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline health, monitoring improvements, and documentation

- Senior-level engineers will contribute directly to the core engineering groups product and feature work

What Were Looking For :

Core requirements across all levels :

- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python

- Experience with React or another modern front-end framework

- Solid debugging skills comfortable reading stack traces, logs, and unfamiliar codebases

- Understanding of automated testing and why it matters

- Familiarity with Git workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD concepts

- Good English communication skills (written is critical for async handoffs and escalations)

- Willingness to work shifts.

Your placement is driven by how you perform in the assessment and interview specifically, your ability to articulate how you approached the problem, what decisions you made, why you made them, and what you might do differently. That is the primary signal. Everything below is secondary context that may inform the conversation :

- C#/.NET and Angular experience (directly relevant to legacy support and migration)

- Salesforce/Apex development experience

- Production support experience : incident response, root-cause analysis, runbook creation

- Rust exposure (even personal projects or coursework)

- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot)

- System design and architecture thinking

- Experience leading, mentoring, or onboarding other engineers

- Production monitoring and observability tool experience (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, or similar)
