About the Role

Medikabazaar is looking for 3 dynamic and analytical interns to support strategic market research and business expansion initiatives.

• 2 Interns – Smart Hospital Project
• 1 Intern – X-Ray Market Expansion & Coverage

The interns will be responsible for conducting healthcare market research, understanding hospital ecosystems and OEM/product portfolios, analysing market data, and generating actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Smart Hospital Project – 2 Positions

• Conduct market research and mapping of hospitals across identified markets.
• Understand hospital infrastructure, departments, workflows and key decision-makers.
• Research Smart Hospital technologies, solutions and applications.
• Identify and map relevant OEMs, products and solution providers.
• Conduct competitor and market intelligence research.
• Collect, validate and maintain hospital and market databases.
• Analyse market data to identify opportunities and potential customers.
• Prepare Excel-based reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Support the team in identifying potential Smart Hospital projects and business opportunities.

X-Ray Market Expansion & Coverage – 1 Position

• Conduct market research for the X-Ray equipment segment.
• Map hospitals, diagnostic centres and imaging centres across target territories.
• Develop understanding of X-Ray product categories, applications and market dynamics.
• Research major X-Ray OEMs, their product portfolios and market positioning.
• Conduct competitor and market intelligence research.
• Analyse territory-wise market potential and existing customer coverage.
• Identify market gaps, white spaces and potential business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate market and customer databases.
• Prepare market analysis reports and dashboards for business decision-making.

Required Skills

• Strong market research and data analysis skills.
• Good understanding of the hospital / healthcare ecosystem.
• Ability to research and understand OEMs, products and competitors.
• Strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• MBA / PGDM in Healthcare Management, Marketing, Business Analytics or related specialization.
• Candidates from Healthcare, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Engineering or Business Analytics backgrounds may also apply.
• Freshers with strong research and analytical capabilities are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates who have completed academic projects involving market research, healthcare, data analysis or competitor analysis will be preferred.
