Job Description

Collect, prepare, and analyze biological samples (blood, tissues, body fluids) for oncology-related diagnostic testing.

Operate and maintain advanced lab equipment like centrifuges, auto-analyzers, PCR machines, and microscopes.

Perform routine and specialized tests including hematology, histopathology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results in accordance with established protocols.

Maintain proper documentation of patient records and test data as per NABL/ISO guidelines.

Follow strict safety, infection control, and quality control protocols in all lab operations.

Coordinate with oncologists, pathologists, and other technicians for case discussion and reporting.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as NABL, CAP, and other healthcare certifications.

Education: Diploma / B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT).

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a diagnostic or oncology lab setup preferred.

Knowledge of oncology-related testing procedures and lab protocols is an added advantage.

Familiarity with laboratory management systems (LIS) and digital reporting tools.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment under pressure.
- Experience in cancer-specific test panels (e.g., tumor markers, histopathology).

Good communication skills for inter-department coordination.

Ethical conduct and patient confidentiality awareness.

Ability to troubleshoot equipment and testing errors.
