Role Summary
The Manager / Senior Professional - Medical Devices Solutioning & AI Transformation will support client-facing solutioning, presales, proposal development, and AI-led engineering transformation initiatives for Medical Devices and Life Sciences clients.
The role is designed for a practitioner who can translate customer needs into practical engineering solutions, contribute to solution architecture, coordinate with delivery and domain specialists, and create business-value narratives around AI, automation, digital engineering, quality, and regulatory-aware product development.
The individual will work closely with account teams, solution architects, delivery leaders, AI specialists, quality teams, and client stakeholders to shape differentiated proposals, solution roadmaps, workshops, proof-of-concepts, and reusable assets for medical-device engineering engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Solutioning & Presales Support
Contribute to solutioning for Medical Devices, Digital Health, connected products, software, V&V, quality engineering, and sustaining engineering opportunities.
Support RFPs, RFIs, capability presentations, proactive proposals, solution narratives, estimations, assumptions, and staffing inputs.
Work with account teams to convert customer pain points into value propositions, delivery models, and measurable outcomes.
Participate in client discovery discussions, solution workshops, and internal pursuit reviews.
Create reusable proposal content, solution templates, case-study narratives, and technical differentiators.
AI-Led Medical Devices Transformation
Identify AI and GenAI use cases across medical-device engineering, documentation, verification, validation, quality, regulatory operations, service engineering, and post-market processes.
Support development of AI-enabled productivity, knowledge retrieval, test automation, defect analytics, requirements analysis, and documentation acceleration solutions.
Collaborate with AI CoEs and engineering teams to shape practical demos, POCs, accelerators, and adoption roadmaps.
Contribute to responsible AI considerations including data sensitivity, validation, governance, traceability, and human-in-the-loop review for regulated environments.
Build business cases that connect AI adoption to productivity improvement, cycle-time reduction, quality uplift, compliance readiness, and cost optimization.
Medical Device Engineering & Domain Consulting
Support medical-device product lifecycle solutioning across concept, design, development, verification, validation, release, maintenance, and sustenance.
Bring domain awareness in regulated engineering practices, quality management, risk management, testing, traceability, and clinical/user workflow considerations.
Collaborate with software, embedded, systems, test, cloud, data, cybersecurity, quality, and regulatory SMEs to shape integrated solutions.
Help develop solution accelerators for V&V, requirements traceability, defect management, design documentation, complaint handling, and post-market quality analytics.
Contribute to practical transformation roadmaps for engineering modernization and digital product development.
Client Engagement & Value Articulation
Prepare client-ready presentations, solution walkthroughs, business cases, and outcome-based proposal sections.
Explain technical solutions in business-friendly language for customer stakeholders and internal leadership.
Support discovery workshops by capturing customer needs, constraints, success criteria, and expected business outcomes.
Partner with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with delivery maturity.
Assist in transitioning won pursuits into delivery by documenting assumptions, scope, risks, dependencies, and handover details.
Innovation, Assets & Capability Building
Develop thought-leadership inputs and solution assets around AI-enabled medical-device engineering.
Contribute to reusable frameworks, proposal snippets, estimation models, accelerator catalogs, and demo scripts.
Promote adoption of AI-assisted SDLC, test automation, engineering analytics, and knowledge management practices.
Build internal capability by sharing learnings, templates, and examples with delivery and presales teams.
Track emerging trends in AI, digital health, connected medical devices, regulatory technology, and engineering productivity.

Preferred Experience
Medical Devices, Digital Health, Life Sciences engineering, or regulated product engineering exposure.
Experience contributing to presales, solutioning, account growth, proposal development, or client workshops.
Exposure to AI/GenAI, automation, analytics, AI-assisted engineering productivity, or digital transformation initiatives.
Understanding of product engineering delivery models including software, embedded, systems, V&V, quality engineering, or sustaining engineering.
Ability to convert technical capabilities into clear, client-ready value propositions and solution narratives.
Experience collaborating with account, solution, delivery, quality, regulatory, and AI specialist teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
10-15+ years of experience in engineering services, product engineering, medical devices, healthcare technology, digital engineering, or related delivery / solutioning roles.
