Media Sales Manager DAVP

Experience: 10 15 Years

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Media Sales Manager DAVP to lead government-focused media sales initiatives at Billion Broadcaster. The ideal candidate will have strong experience
in DAVP/BOC empanelment, government advertising, media planning, and relationship
management with government departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and drive media sales specifically for the DAVP/BOC (Directorate of Advertising &
  Visual Publicity / Bureau of Outreach & Communication) vertical.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with central and state government departments,
  PSUs, ministries, and government agencies.
• Identify, pitch, and secure advertising opportunities across Billion Broadcaster s media
  network.
• Lead end-to-end sales process from generating leads to presenting proposals, media plans,
  and closing deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Creative, Finance) for a seamless campaign
  execution.
• Maintain updated knowledge of DAVP guidelines, rate cards, procurement rules, and
  government marketing trends.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets with a strategic approach.
• Monitor campaign performance and ensure compliance with government norms.
• Maintain detailed records, MIS reports, and client communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related
  field.
• 10 15 years of proven experience in Government Media Sales / DAVP Sales / Government
  Liaisoning.
• Strong understanding of the government advertising ecosystem and tendering processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• The existing network of contacts in government departments and agencies is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple government accounts simultaneously.
