Job Description
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of construction machinery, equipment, and mechanical tools
- at the project site.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Identify mechanical faults and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns effectively.
- Maintain and service construction equipment such as:
- Tower Cranes
- Passenger & Material Hoists
- Bar Bending & Bar Cutting Machines
- Concrete Mixers
- Dewatering Pumps
- DG Sets
- Welding Machines
- Air Compressors
- Concrete Vibrators
- Other construction machinery and tools
- Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain records of machine servicing, repairs, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor machine condition and identify potential issues before major breakdowns occur.
- Ensure availability of required spare parts, lubricants, consumables, and maintenance tools.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors and external service providers for major repairs and servicing.
- Supervise mechanics and technicians and allocate daily maintenance activities.
- Ensure all machines and tools are maintained in safe and working condition.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures during maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of the mechanical workshop and equipment area.
