Job Summary
We are hiring a Mechanical Supervisor with hands-on experience in DG Set installation, erection, and site execution. The candidate should have experience supervising mechanical installation activities at industrial, commercial, or infrastructure project sites and ensuring timely, safe, and quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise erection, installation, and commissioning of DG sets.
Manage installation of acoustic enclosures, exhaust systems, fuel tanks, ventilation systems, and piping.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, grouting, and mechanical fitment of DG sets.
Coordinate with electrical, civil, and client teams for smooth project execution.
Supervise contractors, technicians, and site manpower.
Monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Prepare daily progress reports, material planning, and site documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

ITI (Fitter/Diesel Mechanic/Mechanic Motor Vehicle) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
4–8 years of experience in DG set installation and site execution.

Cummins, Caterpillar (CAT), Kirloskar Oil Engines, Mahindra Powerol, Jakson, Powerica, Sudhir Power, Greaves Cotton, Sterling & Wilson, L&T, Voltas, Thermax, Triveni Engineering, and other DG set installation/EPC companies.
Note: This role is for mechanical execution and installation of DG sets. Candidates with only maintenance or service experience are not preferred.
