Job Summary
Mechanical Design Engineer (3-6 Years)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop wiring harness 3D routing using Siemens NX Electrical Routing module as per packaging and design requirements.
- Prepare 2D flattening drawings of wiring harnesses including wire lengths, bundle diameters, and branch details.
- Define and manage connectors, clips, clamps, protective coverings (corrugated tubes, tapes, sleeves) in NX library.
- Perform routing feasibility, bend radius checks, clearance analysis, and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Generate and maintain BOM, wiring tables, and harness documentation for manufacturing and validation.
