About the Role
Nasscom Foundation is looking for an experienced and skilled Master Trainer to lead digital literacy initiatives across Tripura. The role will focus on delivering engaging training programmes that build digital skills, online safety awareness, knowledge of digital tools, and basic cybersecurity practices among students, workers, and communities.
The ideal candidate should have strong training and facilitation skills, sound knowledge of digital technologies, and the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities 1. Training & Curriculum Delivery - Deliver digital literacy training programmes for students, workers, and community members.
- Facilitate sessions on digital tools, online safety, cybersecurity awareness, and e-governance platforms.
- Adapt training content and methodologies based on the needs of different learner groups.
- Ensure effective and engaging learning experiences through practical, activity-based training.
- Conduct hands-on workshops and awareness sessions on digital literacy and online safety.
- Facilitate classroom and community-based training sessions.
- Encourage participation, interaction, and practical application of digital skills.
- Track training outcomes and participant learning through assessments and feedback.
- Maintain training records, attendance, reports, and other programme documentation.
- Support programme teams in measuring impact and identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Programme Managers, Field Coordinators, Digital Ambassadors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate training schedules and field-level programme activities.
- Support programme implementation and ensure timely completion of training targets.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital literacy training, training and facilitation, education, NGO, CSR, or social development programmes.
- Strong understanding of digital tools, online safety, e-governance platforms, and basic cybersecurity concepts.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong facilitation and classroom management abilities.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training methodologies.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for learners with varying levels of digital proficiency.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel within Tripura for programme and training activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and field teams.
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any relevant discipline.
- Certification in Training & Development, Digital Literacy, Instructional Design, Education, IT, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Prior experience working with NGOs, CSR programmes, government/digital literacy initiatives, or community development projects will be preferred.
