The Engineering Challenge:

As Head of Engineering, you will lead the architecture and execution of a highly scalable AI-native platform.

You will help build:

- Multi-agent AI systems

- Enterprise intelligence graphs

- Real-time signal processing engines

- Recommendation and prediction systems

- Autonomous opportunity discovery workflows

- AI-assisted research and decision engines

- Workflow-embedded enterprise copilots

You will play a critical role in transforming MarketsandMarkets from a research-driven organization into a product and platform company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engineering Leadership & Architecture:

- Define and drive the long-term technology vision

- Architect scalable, secure, and AI-native platforms

- Establish engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices

- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability

2. AI & Agentic Systems:

- Lead the development of AI-powered products and multi-agent systems

- Build orchestration frameworks for enterprise-grade AI applications

- Drive adoption of modern LLM, RAG, Graph AI, and Agentic architectures

- Convert AI research into production-ready products

3. Data & Intelligence Infrastructure:

- Design large-scale intelligence platforms and knowledge systems

- Build graph-based intelligence architectures

- Enable real-time data processing and signal detection

- Create foundations for predictive and recommendation systems

4. Product Engineering:

- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and Business teams

- Translate ambitious product vision into scalable execution plans

- Drive rapid experimentation and product innovation

- Deliver exceptional enterprise user experiences

5. Team Building & Culture:

- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering talent

- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation

- Develop future engineering leaders

- Establish execution excellence while maintaining startup agility

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience:

- 12-18+ years of software engineering experience

- 5+ years leading engineering teams and complex platforms

- Experience building and scaling SaaS, data, AI, or platform products

- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade technology products

2. Technical Expertise:

- Strong experience in several of the following areas: AI/ML Platforms, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI Systems, RAG Architectures, Knowledge Graphs & Graph Databases, Distributed Systems, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data Engineering & Real-Time Processing, Microservices Architecture, Enterprise SaaS Platforms

3. Leadership Traits:

- Systems thinker who can connect technology with business outcomes

- Builder mindset with strong execution capabilities

- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure

- Product-oriented engineer who understands customer value
