Software Test Engineer (Manual Testing | SAP & Enterprise Applications)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to join a global technology team supporting enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, test case design, Agile methodologies, and enterprise application testing, with exposure to SAP environments being an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive test case catalogs for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Execute manual testing across enterprise applications, customer portals, web applications, and mobile platforms.
• Validate software enhancements, change requests (CRs), and project deliverables to ensure system stability and business process continuity.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, and verify application functionality.
• Document test execution results and prepare detailed test reports.
• Report defects and test outcomes using Jira/X-Ray or similar test management tools.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, developers, business users, and international stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Participate in test planning, defect tracking, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in creating and maintaining test case catalogs.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Jira, X-Ray, or similar test management tools.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification.
• Experience with SAP SD, CS, or MM modules.
• Experience testing mobile applications (tablets/smartphones).
• Exposure to enterprise web applications and customer/service portals.
