Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have basic trading knowledge, be proficient in both frontend and backend testing, and possess a good understanding of JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to define the scope of testing.
- Maintain and update testing documentation and reports.
- Ensure that the software meets quality standards and user expectations.
- Communicate testing status, defect reports, and resolutions with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Develop quality assurance strategies and organize phased testing.
- Conduct integration testing using dummy programs to simulate data communication and validate system performance.
- Perform exploratory testing to evaluate software functionality and identify defects on the fly.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Notion).
- Basic knowledge of trading and Futures & Options (F&O) .
- Proficiency in both frontend and backend testing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript .
