Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Ambiguity Resolution Understand the requirement of the project and get the ambiguities clear before start of test cases
- Test case development: Design and develop test cases for web applications and APIs.
- Perform advanced testing: Conduct in-depth sanity, functional, regression, security, performance, and compatibility testing.
- API validation: Ensure that APIs are robust, reliable, and secure by performing advanced API tests.
- Defect management: Identify, document, and track defects (Defect triage) and work closely with developers to resolve them.
- Review and improve: Continuously review and improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Documentation Prepare test plan, test cases , requirement traceability matrix , defect report. Versioning and baselining of all documents on project repository
- Automation Selenium Added advantage
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical skills: Basic knowledge on web technologies. Should be good at API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI),
- Soft skills: Strong analytical skills, and effective communication
