Manual Tester

What are we looking for?

He/She will be responsible for Creating test scenarios/test cases, execute different type of testing, Creating & tracking items on Jira for timely closure of items, collaboratively remove barriers & ensure projects are delivered on time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Must-Have Expertise: -

• Strong experience in manual testing with a sound understanding of testing processes and methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of UI testing concepts, and practical exposure to functional, regression, system integration, and non-functional testing. Proficiency in test case design, test execution, defect management, and tracking.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect tracking and project management tools. Good debugging and analytical skills to investigate issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multiple teams and functions.
• Basic scripting skills using Python or any other scripting language (Shell Script, JavaScript, etc.) to support testing tasks.
• Basic knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries for validations (preferably on PostgreSQL, Yugabyte DB, or similar relational databases).

Good-to-Have Expertise:-

• Exposure to UI Automation Tools like Selenium
• Understanding of open-source technologies including, Kafka, HBase, Solr, and ElasticSearch.
• Experience working in Linux environments for system-level validations and troubleshooting. Awareness of Agile methodologies
