Position: Trade Finance Manual Tester
Total Experience: 2 5 Years
Job Location: Mumbai

Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred / Maximum 15 days

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Testing: Execute manual test cases for Trade Finance products such as Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Bills Collection, LC Advising and Confirming.
• Test Documentation: Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data and test execution reports based on BRD/FSD and business requirements.
• Defect Management: Identify, log and track defects using tools such as JIRA, and perform re-testing and regression testing after defect fixes.
• Domain Validation: Validate Trade Finance transactions based on relevant guidelines such as UCP 600, ISBP and URDG.
• End-to-End Testing: Perform functional, integration, system and regression testing across Trade Finance workflows.
• SWIFT Validation: Validate relevant SWIFT messages generated during Trade Finance transactions.
• Database Testing: Perform basic database validation using SQL queries.
• Test Reporting: Document test results and communicate defects, observations and testing status to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years of experience in Manual Testing, preferably within the Trade Finance / Banking domain.
• Good understanding of Trade Finance products and processes, including LC, Bank Guarantees and Bills Collection.
• Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, System and Regression Testing.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messages and Trade Finance transaction flows.
• Basic understanding of UCP 600, ISBP and URDG.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar defect/test management tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with banking applications such as Finacle will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
