Job Description
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering (Master s preferred)
- 12 15 years of experience in managing commercial real estate projects (Office spaces, malls,
IT parks, etc.) - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management practices
- Familiarity with local building codes, IS standards, and statutory approvals
- Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on cost, quality, and timelines.
- Lead end-to-end execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope,
schedule, and budget - Review and validate drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contracts issued by consultants and
contractors - Develop detailed project schedules (bar charts), resource plans, and construction phasing in
coordination with management - Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, and other consultants for timely design inputs
and issue resolution - Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings,
specifications, and quality standards - Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising design intent or project
quality - Track project progress against the master construction plan and provide regular updates to
senior management - Conduct site inspections and review contractor performance, productivity, and safety
practices - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, local authority approvals, and safety standards
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues
- Lead vendor and contractor negotiations, including finalization of work orders and contracts
- Ensure proper documentation of site changes, variation orders, and as-built drawings
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
- Drive quality assurance and ensure timely project handover to clients
