In just a span of four decades, GANGAR EYE NATION has managed to build a commendable list of patrons.

We have Stores at Pan India level (none on Franchisee basis).

We deal with Eyewear products like Spectacles, Sunglasses & Lenses of all the premium brands.

Role Summary : -

This is a Manager Position in the Role of In-charge of Supply Chain + Warehouse Function and will be handling entire Strategic and Operational areas of Supply Chain Management Function including Warehouse.

Reporting to : - Director- Supply Chain & Warehouse

Reportees : - Team of Supply Chain Function / Warehouse

Interface : -

Internal - Store / Outlet and Other Functional Department

External - Vendors / Supplier / Logistics

Job Location : - Prabhadevi (Mumbai)

Working Days : - Monday - Saturday

Working Hours : - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Description : -

1. Inbound Operations

• Receipt & Inspection: Receiving ordered goods from suppliers and performing physical verification against invoices to ensure quality.
• Sorting: Segregating goods based on size and colour.
• Inventory Prep: Coordinating with the Merchandise team for Item Card/Barcode creation; tagging items while performing a final Quality Control (QC) check.
• System Processing: Executing the Goods Received Note (GRN) process in D365.
• Returns: Returning rejected items to suppliers with a debit note if discrepancies are found during QC.

2. Stocking & Storage

• Organizing: Sorting goods by Brand and Value before transferring them to the stock room.

3. Allocation

• Order Fulfilment: Picking and sorting items by location.
• Documentation: Creating transfer orders in the system (including Boxes, E-way bills, and IRN) upon receipt of allocation files.

4. Logistics & Distribution

• Dispatch: Managing distribution via company vehicles (Mumbai/Metropolitan region) or third-party vendors (outside Mumbai).
• Confirmation: Following up with outlets via email to confirm receipt of goods.
• Planning: Generating E-way bills, creating route plans, and monitoring vehicle movement.

5. Outlet / Store Callback

• Inventory Rotation: Managing the return of slow-moving items and reallocating them to different outlets based on merchandising files.
• Quality Check: Performing QC on all returned items before reallocation.

6. Contact Lens Management

• Order Fulfillment: Directly fulfilling store orders for contact lenses, solutions, and lens cases.
• Inventory Control: Maintaining stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment.

7. Support & Maintenance

• Inquiry Desk: Responding to and fulfilling requirements for all location and store inquiries.
• Defective Items: Managing the return of in-warranty defective items to the supplier.

8. Reporting & MIS

• Warehouse Metrics: Preparing reports on allocation, dispatch, quality, pending quantities, and expected timelines.
• Tracking: Maintaining P.O. tracking, Accessories, and Price List reports.
• Technical Support: Creating lens items (Contact/Spectacle) and providing troubleshooting for Visio Office and Eye Partner machines.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Must be a Graduate with working experience into Supply Chain

Function (Warehouse + SCM)

2. Must be having knowledge of Warehouse Management

Management

3. Must have knowledge of Procurement Management

4. Must have knowledge of Inventory Management

5. Must have working exposure on ERP System (preferably D365)

6. Must be excellent in MS Office Function

7. Must be good at Excel and Advance Excel

8. Must be having excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

9. Must be having good Leadership skill
