Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, supplier management, and order fulfillment.

- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.

- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted material availability.

- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality standards, and contractual compliance.

- Ensure compliance with aerospace, defence, statutory, and regulatory requirements throughout the supply chain.

- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and program management teams to support manufacturing schedules and project timelines.

- Optimize inventory levels while ensuring material availability for production requirements.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain processes.

- Manage demand planning, capacity planning, and risk mitigation strategies to minimize supply disruptions.

- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and prepare MIS reports to support business decision-making.

- Lead supplier audits, contract negotiations, cost optimization initiatives, and vendor development programs.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and successful execution of customer commitments.

Required Candidate Profile:

- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Operations within the Defence or Aerospace industry.

- Strong experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production planning.

- Proven expertise in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.

- Good understanding of aerospace quality standards, regulatory compliance, and supply chain best practices.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
