Role Overview

Ddecor seeks a procurement professional to manage sourcing of biomass briquettes (boiler/TFH fuel) and related spares for plant operations. Candidates must bring strong vendor networks and prior experience in bulk briquette procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Briquettes Procurement: Identify, onboard, and manage reliable briquette suppliers; negotiate rates and delivery; ensure quality (GCV, moisture, ash); maintain market intelligence and buyer database.
• Spares Procurement: Source spares/consumables for boilers and briquettehandling equipment; evaluate quotations; coordinate with plant teams; track inventory to avoid downtime.
• General Procurement & Reporting: Maintain POs, vendor agreements, MIS; ensure timely payments; resolve disputes; provide reports on cost savings, vendor leads, and market trends; conduct field visits across Mumbai/Thane/Navi Mumbai/MIDC belts.

Candidate Profile

• Current procurement/supply chain role in biomass briquetteusing industries (textiles, chemicals, pharma, dairy, food processing, etc.).
• Strong relationships with briquette suppliers/fuel traders (mandatory).

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering graduate (Mechanical/Chemical preferred) or B.Com/BBA; MBA/PGDM in Ops/Supply Chain a plus.
• 6–10 years procurement experience, with exposure to biomass fuel sourcing and/or boiler/TFH spares.

Key Skills

• Vendor network in briquettes.
• Knowledge of fuel quality parameters (GCV, moisture, ash).
• Negotiation and costanalysis expertise.
• Working knowledge of boiler/TFH systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel; SAP experience is a must; strong communication
