• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Drive the design and development of infrastructure solutions that align with customer needs and maintain standards of scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to define and execute a product roadmap that addresses market trends and customer feedback.
• Oversee the complete product development cycle, ensuring quality and usability from design to release.
• Implement and uphold best practices in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Stay abreast of industry trends to inform technical strategy and solve complex, large-scale problems within multi-hardware environments.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Nutanix to integrate insights from engineering, product management, and customer success into development cycles.
• Establish clear first-year objectives, including scaling the engineering team, launching key product features, and enhancing overall product quality and performance.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on cloud-native infrastructure and data management platforms.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams (8-10 engineers).
• Hands-on expertise in Python, Golang, and PostgreSQL, with a keen understanding of software development processes.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed software systems will be a definite plus.
• Proficiency with project management tools and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Experience using virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM (KVM preferred).
• Preferred experience with Hypervisors, containers, container orchestration, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Can-do attitude while solving difficult problems spanning across multiple teams
