Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the real estate/construction industry, with a proven track record of managing MEP systems from design through commissioning while ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across multiple real estate projects.
• Review MEP designs, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of MEP works.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of MEP activities within budget.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality of work, adherence to specifications, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during construction and commissioning.
• Review contractor bills, change orders, material approvals, and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, building codes, fire and safety regulations, and project quality standards.
• Participate in project planning, risk assessment, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Manage testing, commissioning, handover, and documentation of all MEP systems.
• Prepare periodic progress reports and update management on project status.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• 12 -15 years of experience in MEP management within the real estate/construction industry.
• Experience in residential, commercial, township, or mixed-use development projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, and building services.
• Knowledge of NBC, IS Codes, fire safety regulations, and local statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
